“I must have flowers, always, and always.”
~ Claude Monet
My story
Hi! I’m Carrie.
My journey into floral design began with a lifelong love for the way fresh flowers transform a home. This passion reached a creative turning point when my daughter got engaged. Her wedding florist was kind enough to let me participate, and I took on the challenge of designing the large-scale statement pieces for the ceremony and welcome table, as well as the intimate arrangements for the cocktail hour.
Bringing those visions to life on such a meaningful day was the spark I needed. It revealed a talent and creativity I was ready to pursue seriously—and it took a bit of moxie to pull off while being the Mother-of-the-Bride! I went on to formally train at Phipps Conservatory and the Pennsylvania Floral Academy, eventually leaving my career in PR and marketing to pursue floral artistry full-time.
After gaining invaluable experience in a local retail shop, I opened Bloom Wildly, a private floral studio. Having lived in Peters Township for over 40 years and raised my family here, I find great joy in reconnecting with my community—whether I am designing for your meaningful moments or sharing my knowledge in my floral design classes. I look forward to helping you create something beautiful."
